This is a highly collaborative and engaged work environment with great leadership. We are seeking a full-time experienced ICU Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Inova Alexandria Hospital. Night shift 3 x 12-hour shifts 7pm-7am.
(Please note, must be flexible to orienting during day shift,)
The MSICU is a 20-bed unit, 2:1 ratio. Patient population includes cardiopulmonary failure, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, multi-organ dysfunction, Pulmonary hypertension, Pulmonary thrombosis, Shock syndrome(s), renal failure. advanced medical conditions & co-morbidities, post-op complicated surgical cases.

*Experienced ICU RNs are eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Bonus if relocating to the area.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year ICU RN experience.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associate's degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required. ACLS preferred prior to start date
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
