DIRECTOR OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT JOB SUMMARY:

Here at BridgePoint, the Licensed Nurse Director of Quality and Risk Management executes system-wide patient safety, patient and family satisfaction and performance improvement process in collaboration with BridgePoint Leadership. The Licensed Nurse Director of Quality directs the area quality and risk management team with multi-site responsibility for providing oversight in planning and implementing the performance improvement and risk management program to meet the needs of the BridgePoint Hospitals within a designated area. The Licensed Nurse Director of Quality Management provides education to medical staff, hospital staff, and Governing Body. The Licensed Nurse Director of Quality directs performance improvement activities and acts as resource person to executive team, department managers, and medical staff. The Licensed Nurse Director of Quality Management provides oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, such Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Department of Health and oversight, direction and evaluation of quality and patient safety goals of BridgePoint to ensure licensure and regulatory requirements are met.

Education: ·Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or health related field preferred. ·Related experience (4 years) may be substituted for degree. Masters of Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred. ASQ certification preferred.

Experience: Must have four (4) years of experience in acute hospital setting with management responsibilities and including medical staff committee functions, management of performance improvement and risk management activities. Requires demonstrated expertise in Performance Improvement methods, measurement definition and analysis, team facilitation and project management. ·Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements. Working knowledge of risk management and patient safety.
