Overview:

  • Title: Senior Director of Systems and Project Management
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/Week, Days
  • Location: Arlington, VA
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary

This a nursing leadership position that serves as an active member of the Nursing Leadership Team.

This position provides leadership through the Magnet redesignation application process, and has operational oversight of the Palliative Care team.

The successful candidate will work with Nursing Leadership, and the Executive Team, and other hospital departments to create a vision for process and project development to deliver high value solutions throughout the organization.

Work closely with other Divisions to define strategies for action plans, delivery, and follow through with execution, supporting the VHC vision.

Serves in an advisory capacity to the CNO and Executive Team with implementation of new projects.

Position Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or Compact State licensure in Nursing. 
  • Master's prepared.

Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of five years recent clinical and education experience.
  • Progressive nursing leadership required. 
  • Experience with the Magnet application process a plus.
